I have just finished my rehearsal for the TEDx talk I am doing next week. This got me thinking about how to develop a compelling presentation.

When you start developing your own presentations you need to:

• visualise the audience to imagine what being on stage will feel like
• work out how you’re going to move across the stage as you present
• reduce your nerves by visualising yourself speaking confidently
• know exactly when you are turning your slides of yourPowerPoint
